Nicki Minaj fans have slammed the rapper's Dublin show as "the worst they've ever been to" after they were left stranded in the rain for hours on end.

Fans of the top-selling female artist descended on Malahide Castle on Saturday, July 6 for Nicki's first gig in Ireland since playing Dublin's 3Arena and Belfast's Odyssey Arena in 2015. The star's performance at the 3Arena in March 2019 was cancelled last minute due to adverse weather conditions, the promoter, MCD, claimed at the time.

The Super Bass singer was scheduled to take to the stage to continue the European leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour at 8.20pm. However, she didn’t come out until shortly before 10pm, with the venue having a tight 10.30pm curfew to allow attendees to head home using public transport .

One fan left "extremely disappointed" by the Queen of Rap's tardiness was Edward Fitzsimons, who took to TikTok to blast the singer's unprofessionalism and "disrespect". Edward explained: "The last time Nicki was supposed to be in Dublin was 2019.... she cancelled an hour before and she might as well have cancelled the gig last night.

"We went from having the best gig of our lives last week at Taylor Swift to what I would say was the worst gig I've ever been to and I've been at maybe over 100 gigs. I paid €100 for the ticket. They weren't cheap."

Disheartened revellers say Nicki played for just 45 minutes and kept stopping the show to change her outfit . It is claimed the Anaconda chanter then sped through her discography and done mash-ups instead of full-length songs.

Going past the curfew by 20 minutes, the gig ended at around 10.50pm, meaning that the delay was 40 minutes longer than the concert itself. Edward went on: "She had five outfit changes in the space of an hour's gig .

"She changed the color of her hair more times than she sang... we were very close because we were in the Gold Circle but I couldn't tell you if she sang live or not, either."

Referring to the bleak weather fans were forced to stand in, the 27-year-old jokingly added: "It also rained the whole time so Nicki Minaj, you're getting my HSE bill when I come down with hypothermia next week! Buzzing for that!"

The 41-year-old showed no remorse for her behavior after the concert , instead writing on X, previously Twitter: "‘#GagCityDublin is the WINNER. THERE!!!!! I said it!!!!!!!!!!!BEST CROWD OF ALL F**** TIME.’

More fans shared their fury online, criticizing the artist for leaving them in the dark and demanding refunds . One wrote: "The Taylor Swift to Nicki Minaj comparison is so crazy... Nicki didn't care about people's money at all."

Another complained: "This was my youngest kid's first gig . She was so excited then started losing interest and wanted to go home. I was fuming by the time she came out but had to hide my anger so my kids could enjoy it."
