Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian winger linked with a move to Liverpool , has been tipped for Premier League success by former Manchester United forward Louis Saha.

The Napoli star, fresh from clinching Serie A glory in 2023 and impressing at Euro 2024 with Georgia, has been on the radar of several top clubs, including the Reds. His representatives set tongues wagging about a potential summer switch before the tournament in Germany, and Kvaratskhelia himself indicated a decision would come post-Euro 2024.

Liverpool has now received an endorsement to sign the 23-year-old from Saha, who told Gambling Zone : "I really like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's style. He can play everywhere in the Premier League. They will all want to sign him, where he chooses to go will all be about style of play.

"Kvaratskhelia fits the bill perfectly with his creativity and his work-rate, he can play on both sides as well as No.10 - he can do it all. I really like his energy and how good he looked with Georgia, he is an amazing player. There are no clubs who will say no if they manage to get him. Yes, there is maybe a style of play that you can recognise in some teams. Whoever gets Kvaratskhelia will have an unbelievable player."

With that endorsement, Saha places Kvaratskhelia on par with the elite. The talent's father has also weighed in, suggesting his son has even more natural ability than Liverpool's leading scorer for the past seven seasons, Mohamed Salah .

Liverpool's new head coach Arne Slot, alongside sporting director Richard Hughes, faced the press for the first time on Friday, hinting that after evaluating the squad in pre-season, they might make some "opportunistic" signings.
