Hawk Tuah Girl has revealed her surprising connection to a popular Irish city , prompting residents to send greetings from across the pond .

Hawk Tuah Girl , whose real name is Haliey Welch, went viral nearly two weeks ago when she was interviewed in the lively streets of Nashville, a common site for content creators looking to engage with women enjoying nights out.

When asked, "What's one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?," the 21-year-old from Tennessee disclosed her response . The eyebrow-raising advice has since been viewed by over 10 million people.

In a recent Instagram video giving her followers a glimpse into her hometown life and detailing where she intents to live after fame , Hailey proudly showed off the small town where she grew up and worked in a spring factory.

She said: "I'm Hailey and I'm from Belfast , Tennessee." The small area near Lewisburg is named after Northern Ireland's capital city and only has 788 residents compared to the Irish city's population of around 300,000.

Belfast natives were quick to point out the similarity. One wrote: "Omg the Hawk Tuah Girl is from Belfast USA. I'm in Belfast Northern Ireland ." Another commented: "Hello from Belfast in the north of Ireland!"

A third scribed: "I'm from Belfast , Ireland. Love your sense of humor!"

The US Census Bureau r ecently released a list of places in the US with Irish-sounding names , most of them founded by Irish immigrants who built them up.
