    Jannik Sinner.

On Sunday, Jannik Sinner showed why he's one of the most electric players at Wimbledon.

Facing American Ben Shelton in the Round of 16, the 22-year-old needed one more point to tie the third set at 5-all. Sinner hit an excellent return from Shelton between his legs, helping him clinch the game on a forehand.

In a post-match interview, Sinner didn't brag about the tweener, saying it "was just luck."

The humble star won the match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, 7-6 (9), becoming the first Italian man to make three quarterfinal appearances at Wimbledon.

On Tuesday, he will face Daniil Medvedev. Sinner has a 5-6 record against the 28-year-old Russian, but it wouldn't be surprising if the world's No. 1 player wins this match.

As of Sunday, DraftKings Sportsbook gives Sinner the best odds (+160) to win Wimbledon for the first time in his career.

In a recent interview with Danish news outlet SpilXperten, former Wimbledon doubles champion Frederik Nielsen said he finds Sinner "a bit boring to watch." Perhaps he'll change his tune after seeing the 2024 Australian Open champion nail one of the best shots of the grass-court tournament thus far.
