It's Soon-to-Be Mama Barbie! Margot Robbie Is Pregnant with First Child

We had Stereotypical Barbie . We had Supreme Court Justice Barbie. We even had Queen Camilla Barbie . But get ready for Pregnant Barbie (and no, I'm not talking about Midge)!

According to People , Miss Barbie herself Margot Robbie is pregnant with her first child with husband Tom Ackerley . Per the outlet, the news has been confirmed by multiple sources, though not the couple themselves.

The news shouldn't come as a massive surprise. The 34-year-old Oscar nominee has talked openly about expanding her family. “If I’m looking into my future 30 years from now, I want to see a big Christmas dinner with tons of kids there,” she told Grazia magazine . “But definitely not at the moment. That’s 100 percent certain.” That interview was from more than five years ago, so clearly that last part has changed.

The actress told the Australian publication Sunday Style , “I want tons of children. Well, maybe not too many. I grew up in a family of four kids, so that sounds like a good number.”

In a February 2018 interview with The Guardian , the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star explained that she and Ackerley were initially roommates in Clapham, London, England, after meeting on the set of Suite Française. A year into their living situation, their relationship blossomed into more while she was filming The Legend of Tarzan and Ackerley was working on the Mission: Impossible sequel. The catch? They didn’t tell their five (?!) other roommates. “We kept it a secret,” she explained. “Because we weren’t really taking it seriously. ‘Oh, whatever, we’re just mates, we’re just mates.’ And then…everyone found out.”

The rest, as they say, is history.
