2 injured after car crash on OH-502

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Deputies and medics were sent to the scene of a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, a crash was reported in the 700 block of State Route 502 just after 1 p.m. Two vehicle were found to be involved in the crash.

Preliminary investigation shows a Ford Crown Victoria was traveling eastbound on OH-502 when the driver struck a Dodge Caravan that had been heading westbound and attempting to make a left turn into a driveway.

The driver and front seat passenger of the Caravan were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The Ford driver was uninjured.

City Rescue and Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the scene alongside Darke County deputies.
