    5 displaced, firefighter hurt in Prince George’s County fire

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Multiple people were displaced after a fire broke out in Fairmount Heights on Sunday afternoon.

    Crews with the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department (PGFD) were dispatched to the 5000 block of Leroy Gorham Drive just after 3:20 p.m.

    They arrived at a one-story single-family home on fire.

    Two men hurt after verbal altercation on Metrobus in Southeast DC

    Five adults were displaced and one PGFD firefighter was taken to the hospital to be evaluated for their injuries.

    As of 4:21 p.m., the fire had been put out.

    The Prince George’s County Office of Emergency Management was notified to help those who were displaced.
