The finish saw Trick hit the Trick Shot on Evans and then a Trick Shot on Page. Page fell onto Evans, and Spears pulled the leg of Trick, preventing him from making the cover or the save.

CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre again at WWE Money in the Ban. After McIntyre won the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, he cashed in the contract during the match between World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest and Seth Rollins. Punk ran in and attacked McIntyre, and Priest capitalized by pinning "The Scottish Warrior".

Adam Pearce has suspended Drew McIntyre. WWE shot an angle following last night’s Money in the Bank PLE that saw McIntyre interrupt the post-show panel discussion. He was furious at CM Punk for having interfered during his MITB cash-in attempt. McIntyre struck several WWE officials who came out to stop him, including Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce.

As seen during the July 5th 2024 edition of WWE Smackdown, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller defended the tag team titles against DIY – Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Theory and Waller were in control until Waller accidentally knocked Theory off the apron. Despite this, Theory was able to put Waller’s foot on the apron to stop a pin attempt. For the finish, Theory tried to save Waller from the Gargano escape but was stopped by Ciampa. Waller then submitted and DIY were crowned as the new champions.

Instead, the referee didn’t make the count, Drew McIntyre cashed-in his Money In The Bank, and Priest ended up retaining after CM Punk nailed McIntyre with the world heavyweight belt.
