Florida Caverns State Park ranked #5 on Travel + Leisure Hidden Gem Attractions list

Travel + Leisure has announced the ’20 Hidden Gem Attractions in Florida that Won’t Be Too Crowded’ list and one Panhandle attraction has made the list. Florida Caverns State Park in Jackson County was ranked #5.

Visitors can take a journey through time with a guided cave tour where limestone formations that are more than 30 million years old are exposed. It’s the only state park in Florida where visitors can take a tour through a large cave and see spectacular examples of cave formations including stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, and columns.

Tours are also conducted with a new state-of-the-art LED lighting system to offer a captivating experience. The park also offers trails, swimming, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, and much more.
