K-pop rappers Ash Island and Chanmina ‘s latest relationship update has surprised fans. According to their social media posts, the two artists have tied the knot and are now ready to start their family.

Yoon Jin-Young, aka Ash Island, became famous after appearing on Mnet’s hip-hop reality show, High School Rapper. Later, he made his solo debut in 2019 with the EP Ash. Since his official debut, the rapper has released three extended plays and multiple singles.

Chanmina, aka Mina Otomonai, is a South Korean-Japanese rapper who debuted independently in 2016 before signing with a label to release her first album. The 25-year-old Asian rapper has released two albums under Warner Music, including Never Grow Up and Naked, which peaked at 23 and 16 on Japan’s Oricon Album Chart.

Ash Island & Chanmina relationship & pregnancy update explored

Asian rappers Ash Island and Chanmina are ready to take the next step in their relationship. The pair posted an Instagram update announcing their marriage and pregnancy to fans. In Ash Island’s post, the rapper seemed emotional as he wrote about his “pillar of strength,” i.e., Chanmina.

The K-pop rapper wrote: “I have promised to spend the rest of our lives together. I am deeply grateful for her presence; she is my pillar of strength in every way. In even happier news, a new life has joined us! My heart is overflowing with joy. I feel incredibly fortunate to share this happiness with all of you. I aim to reflect the love I have been given and continue to receive from all of you by sharing it with many more people in the future.”

Chanmina posted a similar message for Ash Island, announcing her marriage and pregnancy. She revealed : “We’re expecting a baby coming into the world, which makes us so blessed and overwhelmed. We’re excited to build a family together, and it’d be very appreciated if you could keep supporting us. I’m going to be a cool mom and be more powerful.”

Before their relationship updates, Ash Island and Chanmina have appeared in the latter’s music video, “Don’t Go.” The scintillating chemistry of the pair impressed fans. The duo also jointly released the single album 20 in 2024.

Meanwhile, Ash Island also has a professional update for fans. The “Melody” rapper will end his exclusive contract with Ambition Musik and move on to new ventures. The artist released his last album, Rose, on May 3, 2023, which ranked at number 24 on the Circle Album Chart.
