    ODOT projects for the week: What you need to know

    The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Ross and Pike counties next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Projects with active or future traffic impacts are linked to OHGO.com

    Ross County

    Ohio 327 Culvert replacements: Work was set to begin on July 1 for two culvert replacement projects on Ohio 327 between the Village of Adelphi and Sams Creek Road. Work will occur daily for this construction. Ohio 327 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via U.S. 50 to U.S. 35 to U.S. 23 to Ohio 159 to Ohio 180. Estimated completion: By 5 p.m. July 12

    U.S. 23 Resurfacing: Work has begun as of June 10 for a resurfacing project on U.S. 23 between S.R. 207 and the Pickaway County line. Work will occur daily for this construction. At least one lane of U.S. 23 will be maintained. Estimated completion: Summer 2024

    Pike County

    Ohio 772 Culvert Replacement: Work has begun as of June 20 for a culvert replacement project between Ohio 124 and McKinney Road. Work will occur daily for this construction. Ohio 772 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via Ohio 124 to Ohio 32 to Ohio 104 to Ohio 551 to Ohio 220. Estimated completion: By July 12

    U.S. 23 Resurfacing: Work has begun as of July 1 for a resurfacing project on U.S. 23 between the City of Waverly and the Ross County line. Work will occur daily for this construction. At least on lane will be maintained for the duration of the project. Estimated completion: Summer 2024

    Meetings

    A public hearing will be held on the 2025 Annual Tax Budget prepared by the Fiscal Officer of Huntington Township of Ross County, Ohio, for the next succeeding fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, at 6 p.m. July 9, at the Huntington Township Fire House.

    Liberty Township Trustees will conduct its budget hearing meeting at 6:30 p.m. July 10 in the office of the fiscal officer at 4923 Vigo Road, Londonderry, with the regular meeting to follow.
