    Top Palm Beach County professionals, business people on the move for the week of July 7

    In our weekly list of business people on the move, we highlight Palm Beach County professionals who are making a difference. These are people from across the spectrum of public and private endeavors, those working in charities, court houses, private practices and beyond. They are moving up within their industry, advancing their careers and standing out for their services within our community.

    Jewish Federation hires community security director

    The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and the Secure Community Network (SCN), the official safety and security organization for the Jewish community in North America, recently announced the hiring of Brandon Waller as the community security director of South Palm Beach County. Waller will oversee the safety and security of the over 200,000 Jewish residents of Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Highland Beach. In this role, he will administer the Federation’s community security program, which provides consultations, building and organizational assessments, training and drills, threat mitigation to Jewish organizations, and response coordination for critical incidents. Prior to joining SCN, Waller served as a Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 2003 to 2024, serving at FBI Headquarters, the FBI New York Field Office, and in Toronto, Canada. The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is part of a growing network of Jewish Federations and communities that have partnered with SCN to launch or build upon existing community-wide security programs.

    Boca-based JARC adds fresh crop of board members

    JARC Florida recently named three new, fulltime members to their board of directors. The three new board members are Summer Faerman, Harry Posin, and Jonathan Greenhut. Faerman is the director of the Meryl and Ron Gallatin Tzedakah, Learning, and Chesed (TLC) Program at B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton. Posin is the founder and president of Label & Co. Developments, Inc. Greenhut is an entrepreneur who has founded multiple businesses in the health, wellness, and beauty space, including New Vitality. JARC, a nonprofit organization based in Boca Raton, provides programs and services to educate and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities,

    Property management firm attains national accreditation

    Rainestone Property Care has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada. Owned by Tandrea Anderson , who has 17 years of customer service experience, Rainestone Property Care serves Wellington, West Lantana, and West Boynton Beach.

    Quantum House adds board of directors member

    Cindy Perih was recently named to the Quantum House board of directors in West Palm Beach. Perih has been a leader and vice president of human resources at KAST construction since its inception in 2005. Quantum House is a caring and supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving treatment in Palm Beach County for a serious medical condition.

    Attorney opens mediation firm in Boca Raton

    Hank Jackson has started Hank Jackson PLLC - Mediation Services.     Health Care District of Palm Beach County adds two leaders, promotes three

    The Health Care District of Palm Beach County recently announced the addition of two distinguished healthcare leaders and the promotion of three other veteran leaders. Each reflects the Health Care District's commitment to enhancing patient care and ensuring accessible, high-quality services for all. Julia Francioni , MBA, BSN, RN, joins the Health Care District as the assistant vice president of nursing at Lakeside Medical Center, the district’s acute care teaching hospital in Belle Glade. Ali-Reza Force, MD , a board-certified psychiatrist, joins the district as the director of behavioral health for its community health centers. Courtney Phillips, MD , has been promoted to vice president and chief of behavioral health and clinical innovations for the district. Marisol Miranda has been promoted to associate vice president, support services for the district where she oversees security, facilities, mailroom services and plant operations. Jay Mazzone has been promoted to associate vice president, transportation and director of operations – Trauma Hawk at the district.

    Jones Foster attorney elected to ECEPC board

    Jones Foster recently announced that trusts and estates attorney Rachel L. Sears was elected to the East Coast Estate Planning Council (ECEPC) of Palm Beach County’s board of directors for the 2024-2025 term during its annual meeting and reception. In her role as a director, Sears will work with the board to organize the ECEPC’s 2024-2025 season which will include planning for a variety of member events and selecting expert speakers to discuss relevant topics on the ever-changing estate planning landscape at regular meetings.
