Eminem's new album releases Friday

Eminem's first album since 2020 is coming this week.

Driving the news: Eminem's "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)" hits streaming services Friday.

The intrigue: Eminem teased his album with an obituary for his alter ego, Slim Shady, in the Detroit Free Press in May.

• Since then, he live-debuted his new single, "Houdini," in front of locals at Michigan Central Station's opening and teamed up with Big Sean and Ypsilanti's BabyTron for his latest single, "Tobey," which dropped last week.
