The workplace romance Chinese drama As Beautiful as You , featuring Xu Kai and Tan Songyun in the lead roles, released episode 10 on July 7, 2024 . As seen in the official trailer , Ji Xing (Tan Songyun) resigns from her job in a whim to pursue entrepreneurship. Episode 10 focuses on Han Ting (Xu Kai) caring for Ji Xing.

In this episode, Han Ting struggles to take care of Ji Xing, who appears to be drunk. She mistakes him for her ex-boyfriend and grabs onto him, refusing to let him go. Han Ting’s heart aches when he hears her mumble Yichen’s name. She promises to give up on her dream and begs him not to break up with her. Han Ting sits beside her, holding her hand, until she finally falls asleep. He leaves only after her roommate comes back.

After waking up the next morning, Ji Xing hears about the embarrassing things she did in her drunken state. She is surprised to learn that Han Ting was the one who took her home from the bar. He also carried her in his arms when she kept making a mess. Ji Xing does not know how to face Han Ting. She reveals to her friends that Yichen broke up with her, as they have different plans for the future.

Meanwhile, Han Ting sends her a message, asking to see the detailed annual plan of her company, Xingchen. Ji Xing works extra hard to forget about the heartbreak. She works overtime at the office and meets up with possible investors, all on her own. Meanwhile, her friends worry for her health.

On the other hand, Han Ting’s advisor advises him against investing in Ji Xing’s company. He explains how, in a short while, Hanhai, Han Ting’s cousin’s company, will eat up Ji Xing’s small company. He urges him to keep love and business separate. But Han Ting is not ready to give up on Ji Xing’s company and is ready to put his whole trust in it.

Xu Kai meets Tan Songyun’s mother

He wonders how long it will take for Ji Xing to get over her breakup. In the meantime, she sends him a text, letting him know that the plan is ready.

Later, they meet at Han Ting’s office. Han Ting lays down a set of rules that Ji Xing has to follow for him to invest in her company, which involve her eating properly and taking care of herself. It catches her off guard when he asks her out for dinner. But she turns down his offer.

Then, the episode shows Ji Xing visiting her parents’ house. Her mother is worried for her and scolds her for not being open with them. Han Ting calls her, wanting to meet up. He offers to come to her parents’ house the next day.

Han Ting prepares an elaborate meal for Ji Xing and visits her. However, she is absent, and unfortunately, her mother mistakes him for Ji Xing’s business partner, Su. He helps her with chores around the house. Even though she nags at him at times, he feels at home.

What happens in As Beautiful As You episode 10’s ending?

Ji Xing comes home to find her mother and Han Ting bonding. Mrs. Ji is shocked to learn that Han Ting is Ji Xing’s boss and not her coworker. She invites him to have lunch with them.

Ji Xing’s mother softens when she learns that Han Ting’s parents passed away when he was young. Han Ting, admiring Ji Xing while she eats, also doesn’t go unnoticed by her.
