Meet the 2023-24 Scholar-Athletes of the Year

For the next two weeks, the Daily Telegram will celebrate the 2024 class of student-athletes with the annual Scholar-Athlete of the Year series.

Out of 69 applicants from all 12 Lenawee County high schools, one recipient was selected to represent each school and out of those 12, one was selected as the overall Scholar-Athlete of the Year .

Starting Tuesday and running each day, excluding the Saturday online-only editions, each recipient will have their stories told starting with the top honoree and then in alphabetical order by high school. Each applicant will also be mentioned.

Here are the honorees and the date their story will run:

Hannah Baker, Lenawee Christian - Tuesday, July 16

Caylan Sower, Madison - Wednesday, July 17

Leah Rorick, Morenci - Thursday, July 18

Seth Kordyzon, Onsted - Friday, July 19

Tanana Emmendorfer, Sand Creek - Sunday, July 20

Bella Juozapaitis, Tecumseh - Monday, July 21
