Kate Mansi Is Engaged to Matt McInnes!

Please join us in congratulating Kate Mansi (Kristina, General Hospital ) on her engagement to Matt McInnis ! She kind of broke the big news when she shared a photo of her eating a burrito in her Instagram Stories with a large diamond ring prominently displayed on her left ring finger. After a website picked that up and ran a story about her engagement, writing that her caption of “LGM” meant “Let’s Get Married,” the actress turned the pic into a post and wrote: “Never did I expect this to be the official photo of our announcement, but here we are. (And LGM = Let’s Go Mets. But… semantics.)

She then shared a lovely photo of her and her new fiancé taking a selfie together outdoors where she has her left hand on his chest, showing off her ring as he embraces her with one hand and takes the selfie with his other. While she simply captioned that post with 7/3/24, the date of their engagement, McInnis shared another pic on his own Instagram of the two of them embracing as he kisses her on the head, writing: “Apparently today is a holiday, but I think July 3rd was even better.”

Mansi’s Instagram post also included a close-up of her engagement ring on her hand as it rests on a page containing a beautiful message that reads: “To the love of my life: Thank you for bringing joy into every day. Your laugh and boundless energy make my life so much better. I love learning and growing with you. And that every day is its own little adventure. I am so grateful for your deep caring and understanding. I just wanna get to know you until the end of the Earth. Thank you for never failing to surprise me in the most beautiful ways that make me feel more loved than I’ve ever felt. Your presence is a gift. Your mind is a wonder that unravels in the most profound ways. I just want to live inside your brain. You bring depth to the moments that need quiet and light to the moments that deserve celebration. I love that you lead with love and are so aware of the impact you have on other people. I am so honored to call you my partner and friend. The idea of our life together is the most exciting thing I’ve ever imagined.”

McInnis is a film and television producer who has worked on Marvel series like Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Helstrom as well as the fantasy series The Witcher: Blood Origin.

Naturally, the comments on Mansi’s Instagram posts filled up with congratulations and love from fans and friends, including some of her GH co-stars. “Mama knew and didn’t blab,” boasted TV mom Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis). “I am busting with love for the two of you. A match divinely orchestrated. Perfection.” Mansi also played Abigail on Days of Our Lives for years, so many of her friends from Salem also chimed in, like Kristian Alfonso (ex-Hope), who wrote: “Oh Honey! Many congratulations, Bluebird, to you and your love!”
