The New England Patriots wrapped up their mandatory minicamp over three weeks ago, and they still have some more time off before training camp kicks off near the end of July.

This offseason, New England made a number of changes to their coaching staff, including hiring Alex Van Pelt as their offensive coordinator, replacing Bill O'Brien.

Van Pelt comes to the Patriots with nearly 20 years of coaching experience after playing quarterback in the NFL for 11 seasons. He spent the last four years as the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator.

During their minicamp, New England's content team mic'd up Van Pelt so fans could hear exactly what he was saying to his players.

Van Pelt was clearly very involved with every position group, as the video showed him talking with quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends and offensive linemen.

Hopefully, there continues to be a high level of communication throughout the season, as that's been an issue in New England's locker room in the past.
