Retired Educators set annual summer picnic

The Barron County Retired Educators will hold its annual summer picnic on Thursday, July 18, with visiting beginning at 4 p.m. and a picnic meal served at 5 p.m. This event will be held at John and Kathy Osterloth’s home at 1005 Linden Ave., Rice Lake.

Brats, condiments, buns, water, lemonade and eating ware will be provided. Members are asked to bring a dish to pass and any special refreshments for themselves.

Any who are thinking about joining the organization are invited to attend and enjoy a meal and camaraderie. BCREA supports anyone who has worked in education, including all support staff, teachers and administrators from any county, state, or country.
