UPDATE (7:35 a.m.) - The Lake Fire has burned 26,176 acres, while the containment has grown to 12%.

UPDATE (7:26 p.m.) - The Lake Fire burning in Santa Barbara County has grown to 21,763 acres as of Monday evening, according to fire officials, with containment remaining at 8%.

A new Evacuation Order has been issued for parts of Figueroa Mountain south of Tunnel House at the Sisquoc River, east of Figueroa Creek, north of the southern end of Cachuma Mountain, and west of Los Padres National Forest areas.

An additional Evacuation Warning has been issued for the area of Goat Rock, east of Figueroa Creek, north of the U.S. Forest Service entrance at Happy Canyon Road, and south of Cachuma Mountain.

UPDATE (1:12 p.m.) - In the latest update from fire officials at the Lake Fire, Public Information Officer Rick Marinelli said one of the main objectives for fire crews on Monday is focusing on preventing the fire from spreading further to the south where it has crossed Figueroa Mountain Road.

UPDATE (11:22 a.m.) - Santa Barbara County has opened a Call Center for information about the Lake Fire and resources for those who are impacted by the evacuation orders and warnings. Call 833-688-5551 to reach the call center.

(7:39 a.m.) - The Lake Fire has grown to 20,320 acres and containment remains at 8% as of Monday morning.

The wildfire broke out Friday afternoon in the Los Padres National Forest near Zaca Lake in Santa Barbara County.

According to the latest update from fire officials, the fire continues to actively burn through the night on slopes above the fog. Some areas are reportedly more active at night than during the day, and firefighters are reporting large growth in the southeast area of the fire.

An Evacuation Order is currently in place for all areas from Figueroa Mountain Road at Junction Camp (including Tunnel Rd.) to Chamberlin Ranch, and all areas from Zaca Lake Road at Foxen Canyon Road north to the Sisquoc River including east of Foxen Canyon Road to the 9000 block

The Red Cross has opened an evacuation shelter at the Solvang Veterans Memorial Building located at 1745 Mission Drive in Solvang.

There are more than 1,000 fire personnel assigned to the Lake Fire along with 10 helicopters and numerous air tankers as conditions allow.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
