    KDOT hosts second round of community outreach on U.S. 69 HWY

    KANSAS (KOAM) -- The Kansas Department of Transportation is hosting another round of community outreach regarding U.S. 69 Highway in Crawford County.

    KDOT is continuing the 69 Highway study with a second round of open houses in July to follow up the events last May. Each open house will discuss and review data collected during the first round.

    In-person open houses:

    • Tuesday, July 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
      • Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium, 503 N. Pine St., Pittsburg, KS 66762.
    • Tuesday, July 23, from 4 to 6 p.m.
      • Pittsburg High School, 1978 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762.
    • Wednesday, July 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
      • Palluccas Event Hall, 207 E. McKay St., Frontenac, KS 66763.
    • Wednesday, July 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.
      • Northeast High School, 1003 E. South St., Arma, KS 66712.

    Virtual open houses:

    • Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (sign-in starts at 5)
