Japanese Pizza Huts have been secretly developing a Yaki Cheese Ramen dish––better known to Americans as Grilled Cheese Ramen–– and we are so jealous. Also- why is this being kept quiet?

Fast food chains usually target smaller areas for testing new items, and they also like to focus on smaller, more specific audiences to market these menu items to. If you want something new and different, who else better to tell you what's up and coming than those who like something the masses would think is a bit weird?

That is why it seems appropriate that the Grilled Cheese Ramen hasn't made it to bigger markets just yet. Are people ready for this mashup? We know we are!

The dish, which hit Japanese markets in mid-March, is really hard to find, though, and you have to do some digging if you want to try it. You should know that it doesn't look super appetizing, but rather something a broke college kid would make in a dorm room microwave after a night of partying. However, people who have tried it say it is delicious!

It was produced in collaboration with Japanese ramen chain Tenka Ippin and it's relatively simple in terms of ingredients. It combines cheese with Japanese Ramen seasoning and noodles as the main staples in the dish. This cheesy, rich ramen dish is classified as a side menu item, and it costs 560 yen, which is $3.48 in U.S. dollars.

Pizza Hut Has New Pizzas

For U.S. customers, Pizza Hut has released four new pizzas . The Hut recently announced that it will be bringing new Tavern-style pizzas to menus nationwide this summer and they look incredible!

In addition to that, Pizza Hut recently announced the return of its popular reading program , Book It!, which encouraged children to read so that they could be rewarded with a personal pizza.

The program turns 40 this year.
