Viola Davis' Fans Gush Over 'Grown Up' Daughter in Rare Mom-Daughter Photo

Viola Davis is showing her teenage daughter some love—and fans are giving the love right back to the mama-daughter pair!

On Saturday, July 6, the How to Get Away With Murder star took to Instagram with a rare snapshot of herself and husband Julius Tennon 's daughter, Genesis Tennon .

In the picture, the proud mom gushed over her "soon-to-be 14-year-old," embracing the young lady as she wrapped her arm around her waist and rested her hand on her daughter's hip.

The two posed in what looked to be a kitchen area, with Genesis sporting a simple black camisole top with khaki cargo pants. The EGOT winner, for her part, looked youthful while rocking oversized jeans with a cropped hoodie, platform sneakers, hoop earrings, and a head wrap.

Fans wasted no time commenting on both the longtime actress' outfit and how much the rarely-seen girl has grown.

"Wait but this outfit!? The chunky shoe with the cropped hoodie… topped off with a head wrap and a smile!?? I’m taking notes 📝," one proclaimed, while another said, "Look at these beauties! Genesis all grown up and as cute as ever. Mama slaying in the Headwrap! Just brightened my day!"

"She’s as tall as you. 😍😍😍😍," Davis' The Help costar Octavia Spencer noticed, while Alicia Keys simply dropped a wealth of fire flame emojis.

"Genesis. So grown up. So beautiful!🤩 😍❤️," ABC broadcaster Deborah Roberts added.

"Ummmmm... WHEN did all this vibe all this swag and style happen???? Geeeeesh 😳😩🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️," another fan wondered, as two more could hardly believe how fast time flies, writing, "Wow!!! But…she was JUST little!!" and "OMG she's grown so much."

Julius and Viola, who've been married since 2003, welcomed Genesis into their family via adoption in Oct. 2011, after her July 2010 birth.
