Ever since Cala, the viral ' I Go Meow ' cat sadly passed away in late May of this year, our hearts have cried out for another adorable cat that also sings songs for no reason. Well, Cala may have a worthy successor in this black cat who also sings his own weird little tune for the enjoyment of the masses.

Just listen to this and you try and decipher the lyrics!

The hilarious video was shared by the TikTok account for @ mugumeow and people can't get over this cat who either wants some moths or some gabagool or something.

Other people agreed for sure felt he was friends with the 'I Go Meow' cat who sadly passed . One person said, "He's summoning Cala, the "I go meow" cat." Another added, "He is the friend of "I go meow"

One other person replied, "I know people have mentioned this, but if this is not a normal behavior for your cat, this can be a sign of pain or distress...."

That's a valid point, but I'm sure this cat's owner is aware of this and has made sure the vet says that their cat is okay. If your own cat makes weird vocalizations on occasion, there could be a few reasons why.

Cats are such weird little creatures.

Cats make bizarre vocalizations for different reasons, often related to communication, because they need something, natural behaviors or because cats are just plan weird sometimes. Some cats even make weird noises just because they love listening to themselves .

One reason your cat may do this is because they aren't spayed or neutered , and they are trying to attract a mate. We all have heard stray cats outside screaming and howling and that's how they alert all the un-fixed boys and girls in the neighborhood that they should swipe right on them.

Cats sometimes make weird yowling and howling sounds to get their owner's attention, whether they want food, playtime, or simply some affection. They are basically screaming I want your attention you dumb human and I want it now!

Sometimes cats may make odd noises when they are stressed, anxious, or frightened. This can include hissing, growling, or a high-pitched meow. This is their way of alerting the house that they are upset about something.

If your own cat is suddenly making strange noises you haven't heard before a call to your veterinarian may be in order. Sometimes weird vocalizations can be a sign of medical issues such as thyroid problems or other illnesses that affect a cat's behavior. One of our cats has dementia and our vet told us he makes these noises at night because he forgets where he is and it's so heartbreaking!
