First Preview of Brad Pitt in "F1" Released

Brad Pitt's Formula One film has a release date , and now a trailer as Apple Original Films releases a first look at the upcoming — simply titled — F1 starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, and Kerry Condon.

Debuting during the British Grand Prix's Formula 1 race this weekend, the teaser for F1 delivers everything you'd expect from a racing movie: fast cars, race day thrills and tense, ear-splitting sound design.

As is usual from these first previews, we don't have much to go off as the 90-second look only offers a taste of what we can expect.

The official synopsis for F1 from Apple TV+ reads:

Starring Brad Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1®, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the grid, "F1" has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport. Hailing from director Joseph Kosinski, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Plan B Entertainment and seven-time F1® world champion Lewis Hamilton's Dawn Apollo Films banner, the film is made in collaboration with Formula 1® and the F1® community, including the 10 F1® teams and their drivers, the FIA and race promoters.

F1 will be available only in theaters and in IMAX Summer 2025.
