Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps Bury the Hatchet

I have great news, which is, that Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps are friends once again. In the olden days of Real Housewives of New York , these two were once pretty tight. But then, Bethenny called Luann “not self-aware” during a cast trip to Miami. Also, a verbal sparring ensued over who really created the Skinnygirl Margarita line, as Luann’s battles with sobriety began, completely tearing these two apart in the process.

They briefly reconciled back in 2019, which was nice. However, Bethenny then went after Bravo via her “reality reckoning” movement. This saw Luann Cabaret’ing herself far away from her former costar once again. Luckily, these two ladies are grown-ups, so they’ve since been able to talk things out, effectively burying all of their hatchets.

“Hell hath frozen over”

Ahh the Hamptons. This overpriced sand trap is at least great for one thing; mingling. This is because all of the who’s whos have vacation homes in this spot. Speaking of, both Bethenny and Luann ended up at the same party over there recently, and they experienced nothing but great vibes from the other in turn.

Chatting with US Weekly on this run-in, Luann explained that she’s “been through a lot with Bethenny , but I am not the person who hangs on to the past. We are moving through it in a positive way. Because life is a cabaret.” Luann then posted a reel, showing herself hugging and laughing with Bethenny’s daughter Bryn Hoppy , writing that “Life IS actually a cabaret.”

According to an insider, It was Bryn that helped to reignite this friendship, in a roundabout kinda way. “Bethenny approached Luann and said that her daughter was a fan of Luann’s, so they all posed for a photo,” the source revealed . “Luann didn’t know Bethenny posted it as she still [has] her blocked on social media. Bethenny took all the pictures and then posted and later texted them to Luann, who reciprocated,” the source added.

As for what Bethenny penned in her post, she joked “A bougie Hamptons party by day… tonight it’s a cabaret… Hell hath frozen over and I am being cool and not uncool…”
