Many remember John Stamos and Lori Loughlin playing the lovable couple Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky on Full House.
However, the two dated briefly in real life before co-starring in their iconic roles on the 90s sitcom alongside Bob Saget .
In a 2013 interview with HuffPost Live, Stamos revealed several details of their first date.
He said, “We went on a date to Disneyland before we were both married. In real life, when we were 18, 19 years old.”
“No disrespect to her family and her husband now, I would say that she could be the one that got away. She’s one of my dearest friends, and that’s good enough. I really do adore her.”

The two made their red carpet debut at the Grammy Awards that year.
Although their relationship was short-lived, the two seem to still be on good terms.

The former couple shared a first date at Disneyland and were married four years later.
Stamos proposed on Christmas Eve 1997. He recalled the proposal in his 2023 book If You Would Have Told Me: A Memoir.
He wrote, “It’s a spontaneous moment, so I don’t have a ring. She gets a cigar band around her finger.”
The couple got married on September 19, 1998, in a ceremony at The Beverly Hills Hotel in front of 500 guests.
Sadly, the couple’s divorce was finalized in 2005.

It’s unclear when exactly she and John Stamos dated .
In his memoir, he alleges that he caught her cheating on him with actor Tony Danza .
He wrote, “I take a peek inside and see four feet protruding from the shabby-chic, floral-print duvet that once kept me warm.
“My Tiny Dancer is in bed with Mr. Porsche Speedster. They are sleeping. I can’t tell who he is, but I recognize Teri’s ass barely covered by the sheets.”
However, Copley denied the allegations and argued that, while Danza was at her home, the two were fully dressed when Stamos arrived.
She also said, in a 19-minute YouTube video , that she and Stamos had broken up when this all occurred.

Shortly after his divorce was finalized, John Stamos briefly dated actress Denise Richard , who was in the middle of her own divorce from Charlie Sheen .
The two were reportedly seen together at the actress’ 35th birthday party in 2006.
The relationship did not last, as he told Howard Stern in 2014 that he was not ready to date a woman with children.
He said, “It really kind of was the kid situation and what she’s going through. It just wasn’t the right time, you know.”
He added, “She’s a great mom and dating women with kids is tough.”
Caitlin McHugh

The couple began dating and moved in six months later, according to People .
Stamos proposed to McHugh in October 2017, shortly after the pair learned that they were expecting.
In 2017, he told People, “The [pregnancy] happened. Then I said, I better have a ring on her finger because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway.”
