Multi-vehicle accident sees SUV crash into single-wide trailer

BLUEWELL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A multi-vehicle accident led to one vehicle making impact with a single-wide trailer in Mercer County on Monday morning.

According to the Bluewell Fire Department , units responded to the Brushfork Road area on Monday morning with regard to reports of a two-vehicle accident which saw, “one vehicle jumping the guardrail and coming to rest inside a single wide trailer.”

The vehicle involved, a silver, four-door SUV, appears to also have narrowly avoided a tree in the yard of the residence, which itself sits fifty or so feet from the roadway from which the vehicle diverted.

Along with Engine 4 and Truck 6 with the Bluewell Fire Department, the scene also saw response from ambulance units with the Bluefield West Virginia Rescue Squad.

Once operations began, the silver SUV was removed from the yard area and crews were able to clear the scene a short time later. At the time of writing, it is unclear what initially caused the multi-vehicle accident.

Additionally, no indication has been provided at the time of writing with regard to the condition of the individuals involved in the accident. It should be noted, however, that no injuries or fatalities have been reported at this time as a result of the incident.
