    Good morning, Sandusky County.

Expect to see some strange weather the next couple of days as the remnants of Hurricane Beryl hit. The expected high Tuesday is 87 degrees with a low of 70 and a 60% chance of thunderstorms in the evening. That chance of thunderstorms bumps up to 70% by Wednesday morning, but all of this depends on the path of that storm and how quickly it dissipates.

'Upwards of 2 inches': Hurricane Beryl will blast Ohio late Tuesday night through Thursday

'The heaviest would be in Northwest Ohio'

Science reporter Zach Tuggle has a much larger article on Beryl's impact on Ohio, but I'm including the section specifically on Sandusky and Ottawa counties.

"I would say it will be here about 24 hours," Brian Mitchell, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Cleveland, said Monday morning.

He went on to speak about Northwest Ohio.

"There could be several rounds as it moves up this way," Mitchell said. "There can be an area of showers and thunderstorms and then a break for a while before you see some more."

Beryl was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm after hitting the Texas coast.

The low-pressure system has been forecast to spread out as it goes through Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.

Mailbag: 'History of Rock 'n' Roll' at Clyde Museum

With the "History of Rock 'n' Roll" event coming to the Clyde Museum, I had several questions about activities at the museum. The Clyde Museum features a historical collection about war heroes and other famous people from the Clyde area, including artifacts related to transportation, Native American culture, church histories, education, pioneers and industrial-era objects.

Later this evening will be a presentation from Bowling Green State University pop culture professor Matt Donahue, Ph.D., who will present “The History of Rock & Roll" at 6:30 p.m. It will cover the inception of rock ‘n’ roll in the 1950s, through the early 2000s, discussing how it emerged and evolved.

Donahue will touch on a variety of genres associated including rhythm and blues, rockabilly, the teen idol movement, Motown, soul, surf, the British invasion and '70s, '80s and '90s rock.

The Clyde Museum is at 124 W Buckeye St., in Clyde.
