    Holmes County Sheriff’s Office out in full force during holiday weekend

    HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Holmes County Sheriff’s Office was out in full force during the 4th of July weekend making sure members of the community stayed safe.

    Due to HCSO’s vigilance over the weekend, not only were they able to keep residents safe, but they also conducted numerous traffic stops leading to to five drug-related arrests.

    WCSO made several drug arrests over the holiday weekend due to enhanced patrols

    Those arrested over the weekend were:

    Megan Anderson was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Christy Rone, out-of-state warrant, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and resisting without violence.

    Shottie Jo Hayes was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Roger Chapman was charged with failure to register, possession of marijuana, and possession of cocaine.

    Angelea Steverson was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
