Since winning season 24 of The Voice, Huntley has been busy. Being on the singing competition show opened many doors for the artist and he has stepped through many of them. That means that he has spent more time in airports and hotels in recent months than in any other part of his life. Recently, he revealed how happy some simple things can make him while he’s on the road.
Anyone who has spent much time in hotels knows that the average shower isn’t made for taller people. As a result, many individuals over about 5’6’’ find themselves contorting in uncomfortable ways to get under the shower heads. Sometimes, getting a “good” shower can take a room from mediocre to memorable. In a recent social media post, Huntley shared how excited he gets when he finds a shower that accommodates his taller frame.
Huntley Shares His Love for a Particular Hotel Shower
“How I feel when I find a shower I fit in while on the road,” he wrote in the post. In the video, the singer stands in front of a spacious hotel shower while belting the Dolly Parton classic “I Will Always Love You.”
A long list of artists have put their stamp on this classic song. However, most have been women. So, hearing Huntley’s deep and gravelly voice singing the iconic chorus takes things to a different level for some listeners. One commenter even suggested that his impromptu rendition of the song would make the late Whitney Houston proud.

Dolly Parton originally wrote “I Will Always Love You” as a farewell to her business and duet partner Porter Wagoner. It was the beginning of her iconic solo career. Released for the first time in March 1974, the song brought Parton a No. 1 hit on the country charts. Then, she re-recorded the song for the soundtrack of the 1982 film The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. It once again went to the top of the chart.
A decade later, Whitney Houston recorded a pop rendition of “I Will Always Love You” for the film The Bodyguard. It dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for a record-breaking 14 weeks. It was Houston’s first Diamond-certified single as well as the best-selling single by a woman in United States history and the best-selling single in the world in 1992.
