If Nate Diaz wants to try his hand at MMA again, the UFC is not the right move.

No, coming off a strong win over Jorge Masvidal inside the boxing ring, Diaz would be best suited by signing with the PFL.

The 39-year-old worked his way up the UFC ladder, competing for the lightweight championship in 2012 and the “BMF” belt back in 2019. Along the way, he earned eight “Fight of the Night” bonuses and ranks among the all-time leaders in several categories.

But there is nothing left for Diaz to prove with that promotion.

Instead, PFL offers him some new names and new fights to take. Along with having signed Jake Paul previously for the PFL PPV SuperFight Division.

Nate Diaz-Jake Paul Would Bring In Fans

Regardless of what you think when it comes to Paul, he and his brother, WWE superstar Logan, generate headlines.

And not just in the combat sports world.

Jake and Logan Paul turn heads whenever they show up. That includes ESPN , TMZ and just about every other major outlet going today.

    Diaz is also a needle-mover.

From his days with the UFC and his feuds with Conor McGregor, the “Stockton Bad Boy” does a tremendous job in hyping up his fights. He brings it during pre-fight press conferences and always brings it on fight-night.

Nate Diaz, PFL Are Match Made In Heaven

Diaz on ESPN as part of the PFL push towards the top would give them another excellent marquee name alongside Francis Ngannou, Amanda Serrano, Claressa Shields and all those from Bellator who came over.

Plus, maybe there could be some cross-promotion down the road with Masvidal and his own group of athletes as those two move towards a third meeting.

Will we see Diaz in the PFL? Only time will tell.
