Real American Beer Spokesperson Addresses False Hulk Hogan Accusation

Over the weekend, Hulk Hogan’s reputation suffered a severe blow after Essence Jenai, a model and influencer who was hired to promote his new beer, accused the two-time WWE Hall of Famer of firing her due to her skin color. This allegation would quickly spread on social media, with millions of people having viewed a tweet shared by @ArtOfDialogue_ regarding this.

However, a spokesperson for the alcohol brand has now provided a statement to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select , where they clarified that Hogan had no involvement in the decision and they are looking to get Jenai’s false statement withdrawn.

“We are deeply troubled by the false rumor circulating on social media that a brand ambassador hired by a third-party marketing agency was terminated by Hulk Hogan for racial reasons. Real American Beer simply terminated its short-term relationship with the third-party marketing agency. Hulk Hogan was not involved in that decision, and race was not a factor. We are in communication with the agency in an attempt to clear the misunderstanding and incorrect information, and believe that this false statement will be withdrawn.”

70-year-old Hogan’s world fell apart in 2015 after the National Enquirer and Radar Online made public a recording of the wrestling legend using racist language, which subsequently saw him let go by WWE, although his lawyer claims Hogan resigned. And while it initially appeared his career in the mainstream was over, thanks to issuing apologies and multiple black wrestlers and celebrities, including Kamala, Virgil, Dennis Rodman, and Mr. T, standing by him, he was able to return to the business and begin rebuilding his legacy.
