    Kendrick Lamar has one of his favorite local burger spots jumping after shooting a scene there in the “Not Like Us” music video. After the video went viral on social media it’s now proving to be a major success, with Tam’s Burgers reporting a significant increase in sales.

    According to TMZ, the burger spot is now seeing a surge in orders for their signature bread and cheese-stacked burgers, inspired by the rapper’s endorsement. Lauro Hernandez, the manager of Tam’s Burgers, along with his son Bryan Noe, revealed to the news outlet that their Compton location on Rosecrans Ave has been increasing with customers all weekend following the release of Kendrick Lamar’s hit music video on July 4th. According to Lauro Hernandez and Bryan Noe, numerous fans have been visiting Tam’s Burgers and claiming they pulled up because of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” music video. While they continue to receive loyal support from the local community, they have also noticed a significant increase in tourist traffic to their establishment.

    Since the release of the video, Tam’s Burgers has experienced a substantial increase in business, with sales rising by an impressive 30% to 40%, TMZ also reported. As we all know, within the music video, Kendrick Lamar and “Not Like Us” producer DJ Mustard arrive at Tam’s Burgers in a Lamborghini, where they are joined by dancer Storm DeBarge during the second verse of the song.

    Lauro mentioned that customers have been predominantly ordering the bacon cheeseburger, which happens to be Kendrick Lamar’s go-to choice whenever he visits the restaurant.
