    The Bachelorette fans up in arms as they say introducing new mansion is 'sacrilegious'

    The Bachelorette premiered and viewers are confused with the new makeover.

    The ABC show premiered on Tuesday, July 9, introducing fans to not only the new Bachelorette, Jenn Tran , but also the 25 men competing for her heart. Jenn was previously a contestant on The Bachelor as she attempted to find love with Joey Graziadei . During his season's After the Final Rose special, host Jesse Palmer confirmed that Jenn would be season 21's Bachelorette.

    When walking out of the limo wearing a white designed gown and to the Bachelor mansion, Jen and viewers were introduced to a new mansion location.

    Season 21 of The Bachelorette is taking place at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California. Jen told Jesse that she believed this was the perfect place for her "love story to begin," as the took on the view and waited for the men to make their first impression.

    Viewers at home were confused and taken back as to why the franchise decided to change the iconic location. One person on X, formerly know as Twitter, wrote: "first Chris Harrison now the bachelor mansion what more can they take from us #TheBachelorette." Another person wrote: "Where tf is the mansion #TheBachelorette." A third person wrote: "This better not be the new mansion forever #TheBachelorette." A fourth person wrote: "why aren’t they filming at the bachelor mansion?? this feels sacrilegious #thebachelorette."

    Villa De La Vina had been the Bachelor mansion since season 11 of The Bachelor and the beginning location of many love stories. The new mansion is 17,000 square feet, bigger than the former mansion which is 10,000 square feet. According to its website, the villa features "Spanish Colonial architecture with aesthetic courtyards, water fountains, arched entryways, curved columns, tiled staircases, and prodigious use of ironwork, which add grace and drama to the crisp white façade bathed in bougainvillea." The venue also hosted many lavish weddings and events like Kaley Cuoco and Corbin Bleu's wedding.

    Even though some viewers are upset the location was switched, others are happy and excited for this to be start of Jen's new beginning. One person wrote: "Ok they did a good job giving the new Bach mansion the same feel wet pavement and all. #thebachelorette." Another person wrote: "Okkkkkkaaayyy new mansion #TheBachelorette." A third wrote: "Love the look of the new Bachelor mansion #TheBachelorette."
