Tom Green County budget hearings for the 2025 budget

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — From July 8 through July 11, Tom Green County Commissioners are hearing from department managers about funding needs as they assemble a framework for the 2025 budget.

The hearings continued Tuesday with budget discussion on the District Attorney’s Office, Road and Bridge, and Facilities and IT. Commissioners also heard about projects for maintenance at county parks.

Tom Green County Judge Lane Carter said, “They can show us what they are requesting, why or what are the needs, why do they need certain items, along with cost-of-living raises, adjustments that way, position requests. Anything that is going to pertain to their department, they come and present to us.”

The budget hearings are open to the public and held in the County Commissioners Courtroom in the Edd B. Keyes Building.
