Sweet dreams: Luxury bedding brand opens at American Dream

High-end furniture and bedding brand DeRUCCI joined the retail lineup at American Dream .

Located in Court G, Level 1, the 2,100-square-foot store officially opened July 1 as the retailer’s third U.S. location.

Founded in 2004, DeRUCCI sells customers a wide range of luxurious sofas, mattresses, bed frames and pillows with a focus on health, comfort and lifestyle.

DeRUCCI crafts its mattresses using only natural materials, like wool and cotton from Australia and velvet from Siberia, which the brand says enables surfaces to stay dry while allowing the body to feel fully supported and relaxed. The mattresses also utilize a special seven-zone pocket spring technology designed to provide individualized comfort.

Though DeRUCCI has about three dozen stores globally , within the U.S. it has just two other locations so far: Queens, N.Y., and Los Angeles, Calif.

Headquartered in the Guangdong Province’s Dongguan City the “Furniture Capital of China” the company says it aims to offer products featuring "innovative design, superior comfort and unparalleled craftsmanship."
