Chelsea Green Earns Rave Reviews For Money In The Bank Performance

This weekend gave us a few impressive moments, and Chelsea Green earns rave reviews for her Money In The Bank performance.

For my money, right up front, the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match was, very possibly, the best match on the premium live event. And that’s saying something, because we did have a number of strong efforts. I felt the women’s match stood out. We saw some insane spots, including at least one insane bump where it just defied all logic.

I can easily stand here and say that many women in that match, including the winner, stood out. Sure, Tiffany Stratton deserves her roses-but for that, she got a nice new briefcase . But pretty much every woman was largely stellar. Maybe a botch or two, but in a ladder match with six Superstars? That is expected, everything can’t go super crisp. But where am I going with this?

Green started things off with the comedy. First trying to jump and grab the case, then trying to knock it down with a ladder as if it were a pinata. Laughs are good. But then she got serious, and she got seriously close to pulling the briefcase down. Honestly, for all she’s done, I would have been completely fine about a Green briefcase run. But she didn’t get that.

Instead, she got one of the matches signature bumps, going from a ladder in the middle of the ring, and to the floor through two tables. And, between her work during the match and that spot too? Per Fightful , she earned high praise in the back. People were pleased with her work and specifically how the bump went. Plus, her work leading up to the event did not go unnoticed. Now we can wonder when she might get a shot at a bigger prize. After all, Chelsea Green’s rave reviews should translate into something.
