You can get $1 movies at these Wichita theaters this summer. Here’s when

If you need cheap things to do with your family during Wichita’s long summer days, you might want to check out this $1 movie deal at local theaters.

Regal Cinemas’ Summer Movie Express offers $1 tickets to select kid-friendly movies at 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer.

Regal, which bought Wichita’s Warren Theatres in 2017 , is running the deal through Wednesday, Aug. 11, at its east and west Wichita locations, as well as its theaters in Topeka and Lawrence.

People attending the discount showings can also get a $5 “snack pack” with a junior-sized drink, popcorn and fruit snacks. Dippin’ Dots are available for $3 more.

What movies are in Regal’s $1 summer deal?

You can see each day’s showings on Regal’s website , which notes the $1 showings with a “SMX24” at the front of the movie title.
