ThirdAct OH plans protest against Chase Bank's stance on fossil fuels

Join ThirdAct OH for a protest from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, outside of the Athens Courthouse and Chase Bank.

The group planned the protest because JP Morgan, Chase, is still the No. 1 fossil fuel financier since the Paris Climate Accord, pumped another $40.8 billion into fossil fuel companies in 2023.

The group will also have an interactive climate ribbon project, which allows participants to grieve what each of us stands to lose to climate chaos and affirms solidarity as protesters unite to fight climate change.

Meet other Ohio third actors and help get the message to Chase Bank that Ohio ones say “No” to increased funding of fossil fuels, “No” to stealing our children’s and grandchildren‘s future, and “yes” to a total pivot to funding for renewables, true renewables.
