‘RHOC’: Shannon Beador Shocks Heather Dubrow With Harrowing Photo Of Her Bloodied Face Post-DUI

The Season 18 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County wastes no time addressing Shannon Beador ‘s shocking DUI. The reality star, who was arrested for the incident last September, even shows co-star Heather Dubrow a harrowing photo of her bloodied face after the accident.

Bravo recently released the opening scene of Season 18, Episode 1 — which jumps right into Beador’s scandal. Ten days after she was questioned about her drinking at the Season 17 reunion, Beador drunkenly crashed her car into a residential property in Newport Beach, California. She was later sentenced to three years of probation and 40 hours of community service, and was required to complete a nine-month alcohol program.

“John [Janssen], he said to me, ‘You’re a drunken idiot.’ I got in the car [and] lost control,” she tells Dubrow in the premiere episode, before pulling up a photo of her blood-soaked face.

“Oh, Shannon. Oh my, God,” Dubrow reacts in horror.

Five months later, Emily Simpson checks in on Beador — who says she’s now a “two-drink max person.”

“I’m continually working on myself. I was just making a lot of very, very poor, poor decisions,” she admits, though insists that she won’t go completely sober since she doesn’t drink “that often.”

Still, Tamra Judge and Dubrow seemingly suggest that Beador has an “alcohol problem.”

“Every fricking day that I wake up I think about what happened,” Beador says in another scene, to which Judge snarks, “Is that after you have a drink?”

Beador becomes emotional in her confessional, telling the cameras, “I’m done with people saying I’m the drunk that needs help. Because I am not. I had a really bad night,” before standing up from her chair and walking out of the room.

The longtime Housewife revealed what led to her DUI in a previously released scene in which she tearfully apologized to her three daughters. According to Beador, it all started when she “stupidly” drove to her ex-boyfriend Janssen’s house.

“We got into a big argument and he said, ‘You’re a drunken idiot. Don’t get in your car,’” she recalled. “But I got in an accident seconds later because I revved up the engine so he could know how mad I was and I lost control of the car immediately.”

“I’m so sorry that I humiliated, that I disappointed you. What kind of example am I? At 59,” she continued. “I’ve never broken a bone. I’ve never had a concussion. I’ve never been in an accident. I’ve never been arrested. I’ve never had a DUI. And I did all of that in 10 seconds.”
