Watch: “SEVER" featuring Brandon Semenuk

We're simple folks, when a new Semenuk edit releases, we drop everything, and give it a watch. This one is no different. While this edit feels like the spiritual successor to Parallel , it features a decidedly more lush backdrop than the scrub oak of the original.

Semenuk and R-Dog take you deep in the steeps, through the redwoods, in perfect conditions as they wind through the flowing corners and big hits on their Trek Slash bikes, putting all 170mm of travel to work. A subtle reminder that “no, you don’t need that downhill bike,” you’ve been eyeing up, the Slash will handle everything you throw at it, including the kitchen sink.

This project also brings to mind this excellent piece from Mike Ferrentino about the original 'Parallel" edit. It's hard to fathom the amount of time and effort that goes into a video part like this, and the process is as fascinating as the final result.
