Delicious Homemade Strawberry Frappe: Cool Summer Refreshment

Summer is here, which means fun in the sun and there is no better way to keep cool than a frozen beverage. Starbucks started the whole frozen drink craze with their frappuccino, which came out in the early 2000's but with this quick and easy frappe recipe, you can make them at home saving lots of time and money. With an abundance of strawberries here in Louisiana, this refreshing strawberry frappe recipe is the perfect way to beat the summer heat anytime.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
• 1 cup of strawberries, fresh or frozen
• 1/4 cup of strawberry syrup
• 1 cup of milk
• 1 cup of ice cubes
• Whipped cream for topping

Directions:

1. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Pour into frappe into a glass, top with whipped cream and drizzle with strawberry syrup and enjoy!!
