Ormond Spray Park open for extended summer hours

The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that Ormond Spray Park will open early on Thursdays and Fridays for the remainder of the Spray Park Season. Once construction is complete at the facility, the extended hours will also apply to the new West Bank Spray Park.

“We are proud to extend the hours of the Ormond Spray Park so that more families can enjoy getting outside and being active this summer,” Director Duane Foret said.

Starting Thursday, June 27, the new hours of operation at the Ormond Spray Park are as follows:

• Monday – Closed for Maintenance
• Tuesday & Wednesday – 1:00 – 6:00 pm
• Thursday & Friday – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday – Private Rentals 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Open to the Public 1:00 – 6:00 pm

Beginning September 3, the park will move to weekend-only operations through Sept. 29. The Ormond Spray Park will close for the season on Sept. 30.
