Kids gear up for the Vernon County Youth Fair

VERNON COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) - The Vernon County Youth Fair is in full swing, offering a week packed with fun and activities.

This morning, 4-H kids were busy tending to their livestock, with sheep and goats being weighed in.

Throughout the week, the children will showcase and sell their animals.

"The highlights for me are definitely the shows. They provide a great opportunity to watch and see all the different aspects of livestock," said Rhett, an exhibitor.
