Hale named Tazewell County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director

TAZEWELL, VA (LOOTPRESS) – The Tazewell County Chamber of Commerce has announced that Amanda Killen Hale will be assuming the role of Executive Director for the organization.

An experienced business owner in her own right, Hale will bring to the role years of insight in the areas of marketing, fundraising, and business. Hale’s past experience includes time spent serving as the Executive Director for Tazewell Today. There, she dedicated her efforts toward the development of community initiatives in the Tazewell area.

Also taken into consideration for Hale’s suitability for the Executive Director role with the chamber was her extensive grant writing and fundraising experience, which served as substantial contributions for a number of local and community programs.

Hale herself is reportedly exciting to take on the Executive Director position and looks forward to this collaboration with the business community of the Tazewell area.

The development follows the announcement from the chamber in early June that applicants for the Executive Director position were being sought. The announcement itself followed a May 31 announcement from former Tazewell County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Keshia Cole indicating her intention to step down from the role to pursue a new career.
