Gypsy Rose Blanchard PREGNANT as she announces she's expecting with boyfriend Ken Urker on YouTube

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is set to become a mom.

The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star shared the heartwarming news that she and boyfriend Ken Urker are expecting in a video posted on her YouTube channel.

Gypsy, 32, was released from prison on December 28 last year after serving seven years of a 10-year sentence for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who subjected her to years of medical abuse.

The reality TV star shared the exciting announcement in an episode on her YouTube channel, titled: " "I'm Pregnant, My Journey So Far" .

In the episode, which was posted on July 9, Gypsy started off by saying: "I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now."

She added: "...and I'm happy to announce, I'm 11 weeks pregnant."

Gypsy continued: "Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025. This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood."

As the video went on, Gypsy addressed some of the concerns, which had been shared by her followers.

Acknowledging the remarks, Gypsy said: "I know that there are going to be people who feel like I'm not ready to be a mother and I don't know if anyone's really ready to be a mother."

Visibly emotional, Gypsy then continued: "All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby."

She added: "I am a mother now, I am happy, and I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn't."

Gypsy's mom Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy (now known as a factitious disorder, which is imposed on another). She had Gypsy undertake a number of medical procedures, telling everyone she was gravely ill, when in reality, she was perfectly healthy.

Dee was murdered by Gypsy's then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn on June 10, 2015.

When Godejohn and Gypsy were arrested, both confessed to murder. Godejohn, who had carried out the attack, was ultimately sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole after being charged with first-degree murder.

Gypsy was given the lesser charge of second-degree murder for her role in her mother's death and was sentenced to 10 years behind bars, but was released last year after serving seven years.

Gypsy and Ken became penpals while she was in prison and became engaged in 2018, but split up years before her release.

At the time of her release, Gypsy was married to ex Ryan Anderson, but they split shortly after.
