Tropical Depression Beryl is moving north with a path of storms in parts of the Midwest, but even Wisconsin could see some rain.

According to the National Weather Service, remnants of Beryl are anticipated to reach the area by the evening of July 9, and could affect Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties with moderate to heavy rainfall.

The NWS also warns of possible thunderstorms the afternoon of July 9 and overnight July 9 into July 10 for Winnebago and Manitowoc counties.

Isolated and scattered thunderstorms could also develop throughout the rest of the week and into the weekend.

The severe weather threat for all four counties is low, as of July 9, according to the NWS. However, local rivers may flood their banks.

After destroying parts of the Caribbean last week, Hurricane Beryl weakened to a Tropical Depression when it reached landfall in Texas in the early hours of July 8, reaching wind speeds of more than 80 mph, according to USA Today.

It's anticipated to weaken further as it moves northwest, and a tracker forecasts its path through Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, though it could travel behind that boundary.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Beryl is the earliest Category 5 hurricane on record for tropical storm season.
