Amazon's yearly Prime Day event is just around the corner, with shoppers able to bag discounts across a wide range of departments on July 16-17.

These discounts will be exclusively available to Prime members, who can look forward to savings in areas such as beauty, tech, homeware, baby and toddler items, kitchenware, and much more. If you're not yet a Prime member but want to join in time for the sale, there's still time.

You can sign up for Amazon Prime here at a cost of $14.99 per month, or $139 per year. The subscription comes with a 30-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime.

Prime members enjoy unlimited free delivery on all their orders and access to Prime Video .

Students or people between the ages of 18 and 24 can get six months of Amazon Prime completely free with Prime Student .

The six-month trial courtesy of Grubhub is for new members only. It auto-renews at $7.49/month after trial, but you can cancel any time.
