Stevie Nicks may be known for her beautiful voice and uniquely magical sense of style, but she’s also one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Whether it was during her time with folk outfit Fleetwood Mac or during her solo career, Nicks has penned some truly incredible tunes. And some of them are a bit too underrated. Let’s look at a few Stevie Nicks deep cuts that every fan should hear!

    1. “Storms”

The 1979 record Tusk is one of Fleetwood Mac’s most memorable albums. The majority of the album is dominated by Lindsey Buckingham and John McVie’s writing and musical arrangements. However, a few Stevie Nicks deep cuts are tucked away on Tusk, too. “Storms” is one of the best songs on the album and was written, composed, and sung by Stevie Nicks.

    2. “Sleeping Angel”

This Stevie Nicks gem was included on the soundtrack for the 1982 film Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Even though it was written for a movie, “Sleeping Angel” boasts quality far beyond what you’d expect on a film soundtrack. It’s one of the softer songs on the soundtrack, and definitely one of Nicks’ most underrated tunes.

    3. “Enchanted”

“Enchanted” is one of many stellar tracks from Nicks’ solo 1983 album The Wild Heart. It’s a unique song that has an almost rockabilly vibe to it that you wouldn’t expect from the folk-focused Stevie Nicks. It’s essential listening for any fan.

    4. “Ooh My Love”

This deep cut comes from Nicks’ 1989 solo album The Other Side Of The Mirror. Unfortunately, this album as a whole doesn’t get much love from fans. Songs from the record also rarely make it to Nicks’ live setlists. It’s unfortunate because songs like “Ooh My Love” and “Rooms On Fire” are some of her best work to date. One could say the album is Nicks’ attempt at crafting a fairy tale.
