Are Bucks County and other PA MOD Pizza stores closing? Pizza chain in financial trouble

MOD Pizza is facing financial challenges and might close some locations to improve its capital structure, according to several published reports .

The chain has a little more than 550 locations across the country, including in Pennsylvania.

Is MOD Pizza closing in Pennsylvania?

MOD Pizza has 18 stores in Pennsylvania , including locations at 2938 S. Eagle Road, Newtown, 1528 Main Street in Valley Square, Warrington, and 4025 Welsh Road, Willow Grove.

A check of random locations in Pennsylvania showed all still accepting orders.

MOD Pizza has not confirmed any store closures yet, but has said it is exploring all options to include shutting down all locations.

MOD Pizza locations closed earlier in year include two in New Jersey

Its Marlton and Cherry Hill stores — the only two in New Jersey — were reportedly shuttered earlier this year during what appeared to be an abrupt widespread closure of 27 MOD Pizza locations across the country, as reported by FOX26 News in California.
